Steve Jobs: A Biography is writtened by Walter Isaacson, the former CEO of CNN. Originally titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs, this book is based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over 2 years - as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues. The book publisher is Simon & Schuster.

Steve Jobs, one of the most controversial figure in the IT scene, had gone through a lot of ups and downs: 


  • co-found Apple with Steve Wozniak; 
  • got kicked out from Apple by the very man he bring into the company; 
  • started NeXT Computer (company) that gets to nowhere; 
  • bought into The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) from Lucasfilm, and later let Disney purchased Pixar in an all-stock transition which resulted Steve Jobs becoming The Walt Disney company's single biggest shareholder (7% shareholding)
  • return to Apple in 1996 with the title interim CEO (iCEO) and successfully launched iMac, iPod, iTunes Stores, iPhone and iPad.
  • made Apple the world's most valuable company, surpassing Exxon Mobil Corp on 10th of August, 2011.
